About the AGC

The Assoc iated Gun Clubs of Baltimore, Inc. was formed on July 1, 1944, when several World War II veterans in the Baltimore, Maryland area began looking for a place to shoot recreationally and competitively. They organized with severa l other Baltimore area shooting clubs to form the “AGC”.

The AGC rang e facility is located on sixty acres in northwest Baltimore County, at the junction of Marriottsville Road and Wards Chapel Road (see Directions).

The range offers all clubs’ members, their familie s, and guests a safe, maintained, and clean location to enjoy the shooting sports year-round.

The AGC offers a 50yd pistol range, 100yd rif le and pistol range, 200yd hi-power range, action shooting bays, trap shoot ing, and more.

How do I get a Range Badge?

To obtain a range badge as an MSI member, a person must attend a Range Safety Orientation and participate in a walk-through of the AGC Rang e facilitates (a 90-minute process) conducted by a Certified Club Instructo r and agree to follow and obey AGC Range Rules.
